Living / dining room styling – inspiration

psThis week is one of those happy weeks, with weird, nervous feelings and lots of excitement. It’s a first week of working in the apartment building I told you about here, styling and shooting five different room corners. So far I didn’t get to play with pretty things, its more about choosing the rooms for each set, checking the lighting and carrying things. Yep, LOTS of heavy things (you really don’t want to be me!) The good news is there is a very functional, big, modern elevator in the building, the bad news is – it’s doesn’t work yet. (See the smile on my face?) No chance of putting on weight any time soon!

Yesterday I have started working on the living / dining room. I have got a truly unique furniture piece for this area from the Naviglio flea market and I really can’t wait to share it with you! Below you can see a general inspiration for the room and key notes from the client.

Key client notes:

  • Autumn mood
  • Color palette: Black / white / brown
  • Style: Modern yet inviting with a touch vintage

Let’s see how it will all work out, hopefully I will have photos ready to show you soon.

PS. I just noticed that the photo of me suits the color palette haha (totally random!)

Have a great day guys and I’m going back to work.
