Weekend inspiration / 2

weekend crushYou guys, it’s Sunday again – sometimes I wonder where does the time fly?

Last week, I mentioned I would like to share with you A LOT more things, images and finds which inspire me on a daily basis. Things I REALLY FEEL, pin, and obsess about over and over again. Many ask me – where do you get all your ideas from? That’s a very good question. But it is not as easy as “my inspiration comes from design magazines, traveling and Pinterest”. At least not always.

What then?

I wish I could give you some elaborate answer but it’s actually mix of many factors, what I feel, what I see, what I experience – hitting me all at once when I’m least prepared for it (who said bloggers jobs was easy?!)

All of you who are following my blog – certainly associate me with interiors and DIYs, but the inspiration for what I do often comes from other sources. I might be inspired by a pattern I see on a dress, an old door with cracking paint I photographed in Venice or an editorial shouting for attention. I admit it gets a bit random at times, but then I wonder… are these visuals really random or do they actually tell a complete story representing our current thoughts? Are the images influencing our current mood or is the current mood influencing what we are drawn to? A little psychological dilemma, but seriously, I find it quite interesting how these things work. What do you think?

Here’s my current mood, a summary of what I loved this week:

Where does your inspiration come from? Are you also a visual person?
