Hello guys, are you ready for the weekend? I sure am, but before it officially starts, I want to show you a few photos from my yesterday’s visit to the local ceramics design and production studio – Ceramica Calcaterra. Recently I have grown a strong interest in hand-crafted ceramics so when the owner Giuseppe Calcaterra showed me around his warehouse, where they are being produced, I was litterally in heaven! I saw how the pieces are being made and learned a bit about the process which was very inspiring. Apart from their own collections, Ceramica Calcaterra collaborates with many local artists and designers creating objects for both practical and decoration use so the place is filled with different designs and unique pieces. One thing they all have in common is beautiful, clean style, which I like very much. I have also some good news to share – I will be working on the photo concept and styling for the new collection. So exciting!

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I would LOVE to try my hand at ceramics. The opportunity has never presented itself…yet. I have an obsession with plates and vases. Perhaps theres a hidden ceramicist hidden within me! Lovely post
