Salvatori Styled Apartment visited at Fuorisalone 2018

One of the hottest trends in the world of design are styled spaces – curated “home” tours, lifestyle settings where stylist’s do their magic to showcase new collections or tendencies. As you can imagine, those kind of styled showrooms are always very high on my list of ‘must-see’ places so I couldn’t miss the Superloft by Salvatori during the Milan’s Design Week!

While discovering the Brera design district, we’ve had an honor to visit the Salvatori apartment and take part in the private tour, organized by Holly Becker. “Superloft” was a set-up of imaginary yet real home, curated by Giulio Cappellini, with the participation of the most interesting Italian designers and masters in craftsmenship. A space that combineed side-by- side iconic pieces by the most important furniture brands, in a synergy between contemporaneity and vision.

Salvatori brand is all about the stone creations and innovations so naturally the stone was the star of the show featuring gorgeous pieces like “Omaggio a Morandi” or “Fontane Bianche” by Elisa Ossino. Inspired by the array of different types of stone Elisa Ossino has drawn upon the simplicity of form of Morandi’s still life images, reproducing them in stunning marble but also creating a line of delicate, marble accessories, which were displayed around the space.

A treat for interior styling enthusiasts! I hope my photos will give you an idea of how it was to be in the Salvatori Superloft, treasuring the stone for its qualities and aesthetics.
