DIY Collage bookmarks

passionshake_summertags7

Hello dear friends. How are you spending the last days of summer? Today I want to share with you a little DIY I made for Craft Cafe column this month – how to make Summer DIY collage tags for bookmarking pages in your favorite books. The idea came to me when I’ve been reading a book In the garden and (as usual!) to bookmark it, I used the… book’s receipt which happened to be inside. Does it ever happen to you? I know it’s not very pretty and it definitely doesn’t suit the sunny-garden–pink-cocktail-and-a-book-image, right? So I thought, it’s high time to do something about it! It’s a quick project so you will need only few minutes to make your own tags with personalized colorful patterns. Ready?

To see full step by step instructions, how I made these tags, you can visit Craft Cafe column. The book that you can see in the photos is  Wohnideen aus dem Wahren Leben by Petra Harms, I strongly recommend to read it as it’s full of beautifully styled homes of fellow bloggers.

So what do you guys use to bookmark your books?

  1. Very pretty tags,
which make a nice small present too!
    Do you “read” Wohnideen, means
you do understand german? Dann kann
ich ja auf deutsch kommentieren 🙂
I hope you`re doing fine in Bella Italia,

Italy is really great! Funny thing, now when I’m trying to speak Italian, I have German words coming to mind!
