Apartment styling (part I) – Living / dining area

styling - passionshakeI’m so excited to share with you the first part of the apartment styling I’ve been working on recently! Most of the photos are ready, and waiting to take part in the advertisement of the building. Turns out there will be a little movie made combining the video covarage of the exterior area produced by the filming company and the room corners created and styled by me. How cool is that? (kind of LOVING my life these days guys!) I will show you all the corners I have shot, splitting them into few posts to avoid image overdose, starting with the living / dining space, which is probably my favorite. Then I will share kitchen, bedroom, work corner, bathroom and the balcony.

As you probably remember I have showed  you the mood board last week, and some main notes from the client. The style direction for the room was: Autumn feel, modern, elegant with a touch of vintage and black, white, brown color palette. That’s right – these are not my usual colors, which is why I enjoyed this project even more! Now I can tell you, that the desired effect was achieved, which makes me very happy since (skip this part, if you are Italian reading it!) Italians are not so easy to please *smile*. I’m very satisfied with the result and some beautiful pieces I got for this occassion including the vintage radio and vinyl record player from 70s, found in Naviglio Grande flea market. It added so much character to the room, don’t you think?
