Meet Father Rabbit – A must-see Store

Ciao guys. How are you doing? I think I am suffering from a light version of insomnia these days, so last night instead of sleeping, I talked to my good friend living in New Zealand, who mentioned to me, a must-see store. Exact words : one of those places, you want to live in, rather than shop! Since she knows me pretty well and I’m a very curious person, I immediately googled it…and oh boy!  I should have probably waited til the morning, seeing as I spent most of my ‘sleeping-time’ browsing The Father Rabbit homeware goodies and it’s virtual interiors.

So Who is Father Rabbit… you wonder?

Meet Father Rabbit - A Must-see StoreA beautiful store in Auckland, where Father Rabbits, the fluffy face of the brand – does simple things properly, presents his carefully curated picks of homewate products that are practical and pleasing, in both form and function. There’s an underlying sense of quality and timelessness, the items are tried and true.

The concept and interiors of the shop’s space at The Bloc are so refreshing it does make me want to hop on the flight, visit my friend in New Zealand and go shopping together, but since it’s a little bit far, for now I suppouse the photos of the stylish white interiors taken by Kara Rosenlund, are enough.

Let me take you on the virtual tour, so you can see what I mean:

Meet Father Rabbit - A Must-see StoreI’m always very happy to see places carefully styled to reflect the brand’s image. Getting the immediate idea of what you can find inside is what makes a difference with so many shops being in the market. The light, white-on-white styling in this case shows the appreciation of simplicity and modern, delicate aesthetics. Great job Father Rabbit!

If you like this store, you might also like the photos from my visit to Sukha in Amsterdam.
