Are you ready to step into a stylish Milan Home?
Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, relax and enjoy the virtual tour of this unique loft. Right at the heart of Milan, in the Porta Venezia zone, one of my favourite designers Ilse Crowford, turned a former garage / launderette into this eye-catching ‘greenhouse’ space. If you are wondering where the name came from, you will see very soon that the loft is a nature’s good friend, filled with plants, eco-friendly designs, accessories by many talented creatives!
The door opens into a green, minimal dining room with a kitchen featuring open shelving system displaying glassware and vintage finds – 80s lamp and copper watering can. Thoughtful design with an eye for aesthetics has made the loft not only stylish but also space efficient.
The little corridor leads from the dining area to the green bathroom and bedroom – a peaceful oasis, decorated in delicate shades, with a design wardrobe system for a modern look.
Coming back from the bedroom we step into the living room space, combined with the dining area, which is another gorgeous corner of the loft.
It was a true pleasure to stay in the loft, while styling and photographing it, an experience for interior enthusiasts like me. Everything what you see in the photos has been specifically designed or modified for the needs of the place – cork table set in the dining area with customized metal frames, green Moroccan tiles on the walls, wardrobe area in metal and wood, curtains… not to mention the lovely details. All carefully curated bu the Studio Ilse.
My faourite accessories are the origami sculptures by Serbian designer Uros Mihic, who entrusts thoughts to delicate origami in poetic shapes, a great decoration in many shapes and colors, definitely add style to the shelves in the loft.
