Back to Work – September plans and Sweet Treats

Happy Saturday guys!

How are you doing? We are back from our always-too-short vacation and even though I’m a little sad when holiday ends, I’m also excited to be back in the studio and ready to start the new projects scheduled for September. If you missed the Instagram photos from our stay around Garda lake, I will be sharing a post soon, but for now, let’s see what are the SERIOUS plans for the next month. I don’t think I ever get too serious but  I’m currently working on my ‘to-do’ list, as it’s again this time of the year when I  make myself all sorts of promises to get more organized and stay on top of tasks. Do you feel the same way too? Back-to-work season?

Shop opening – before you say anything, I know what you are thinking, and you are right – it’s taking a little longer than I thought (my excuse is that it’s THE first time I’m opening an online shop, so I’m making some mistakes and learning from them, things are taking longer than I thought!) Anyhow I really hope it will be live by the end of September, making it my number 1 goal!)

Styling and Photography E-course – working on it, constantly adding new chapters and new tips, trying to include as much as I can, answer all your questions in an easy-to digest guide so you have it all in one place.

Back with my column on Decor8 – Oh yes, you guys, from September I’ll be back with my column on Decor8 with a new, refreshing posts. Stay tuned!

Styling and Photography collaborations – new exciting clients, I’m very much looking forward to working with! If you ever considered to have your products professionally styled and shot, turned into a beautiful lookbook drop me a note, I’m happy to discuss a possibility of working together.

Wedding, wedding, wedding – still SO many things to take care of. Perhaps, spontanous Vegas vows are a solution *laugh*

To make all the planning a little easier, I baked those super yummy-full of energy banana and nuts muffins. They are perfect for long, working hours when you need the treat to give your body and mind a little boost 🙂

Recipe (approx. 12 muffins)

1 and 1/2 cups wheat flour (I used cake)
1/2 teaspoon of soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
pinch of salt
3/4 cup shredded walnuts
3 very ripe bananas
1 egg
3/4 cup light brown sugar (or honey)
1/3 cup of oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Mix flour with soda, baking powder and salt. Add shredded nuts.
2. Peel the bananas and crush them with a fork. Add egg, sugar, oil and mix well.
At the end add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
3. Combine all the ingredients ('dry' with 'wet')
4. Fill muffin cases two-thirds full and top with nuts and little bit of brown sugar.
5. Bake at 190'C for approximately 23-25 minutes.
