Everyone loves a good IKEA hack and it doesn’t get easier and most effective than these two, I promise. Combining the love for wood with the desire to experiment with colors – you can turn ordinary cabinets into a completely new piece to match your style. All you need is a little bit of wax and paint. 1/ Give Ivar a deep green, moody look
You will need:
-FIX Brush
–BABY glaze (black)
–BABY glaze (green)
–Ulvsbo handle in black (optional)
How to: To get the green hue we see in the photo, mix both colors, half of each. Try the color first, for example, on the inside of the cabinet. Let it dry to see the final result. Then once you are happy, paint it all!
2/ Give Bjorksnas a lived-in, vintage look
You will need:
-Gray paint
-Green paint
-Dark furniture wax
How to: Give the cabinet first coat of gray-green paint then go over with dark furniture wax to create an aged effect.
